To mark this celebratory moment, we sat down for a detailed conversation with Me.Football7 to gain insight into her creative journey, her motivations, and her experiences in the world of football content. In this blog, we explore what inspires her work and share some valuable tips for anyone hoping to become a successful football content creator themselves.
All content creators have their own unique drive for making content, and we wanted to know what drove Mia to continually create. She sets a main goal of inspiring others through her love and enthusiasm for the game. She talks about being passionate about football since the age of five. Her passion for the women’s game is what sets her apart from other creators in the football space, and this passion is what has propelled her to amass roughly 700,000 likes across all her platforms.
Many of you at home may be asking what her first spark was to make that initial video. We often hear stories of people who jump into the deep end, post a video, and within a year are social media famous. However, the boundary that separates those who create content and those who watch is the bravery and confidence to post that first video. Mia describes how she attended the Women’s North London Derby in 2022 at the Emirates and decided to take some pictures and videos documenting the day. However, it wasn’t until a few months later that she decided to make her first post while looking back at what she had captured at the game. Ever since then, she has deep rooted herself within the WSL TikTok space, and she talks about how she “hasn’t looked back since.” If anything, Mia’s story shows that you should never be ashamed of where you started, but instead be proud of how far you have come.
For many, posting consistently can be a taxing and draining task. But for Mia, she keeps her goals at the forefront of her mind when creating content. She describes how she wants her content to inspire the next generation of women’s football players and fans. In an ever-changing world where women’s football is starting to truly ground itself within British culture, Mia is in a prime position to inspire today’s youth. As well as this, she talks about how she genuinely enjoys making content and talking about football. For many, football is an everyday conversation; however, Mia decided to globalise this conversation to her thousands of followers, building a powerful community on her way to the top.
For many, content creation brings some amazing opportunities and experiences, whether this be the ability to share your opinion with thousands, or in Mia’s case, share your opinion with almost 1,000 live concurrent viewers. To put this number into context, this is roughly the same number of people who live in a small town or village in the UK. Could you imagine speaking to that many people at once? Mia achieved this goal while live streaming her reaction to the Women’s Euros Final in 2025. She describes feeling incredibly excited but also very nervous — and can you blame her?
Mia made it clear when we spoke to her that she has a true passion for inspiring the next generation, so much so that she even offered some advice for those wanting to start out in content creation. She talks about how it is vital to be patient, but most importantly, to be yourself. She also makes it clear that she believes if you are truly passionate about something and are able to convey that through the screen, it is guaranteed that you will grow on social media. She implores those debating whether to start content creation to start now, as you will never know how far you can go.
